The Sudan Disability network is a network is composed by almost 25 Sudanese organizations that work in the field of empowerment and inclusion of persons with disability.
The open day’s main purpose was to advocate the rights of persons with disability and most importantly the right of inclusion in society. For this reason a small march leaded by Usratuna scout been organized which allowed all the participants of the event to go out from the Center in the neighborhoods of Omar Bin Khattab street.
The event took place in Usratuna Centre with the support of its partner the Italian non-profit organization OVCI La Nostra Famiglia in which rehabilitation and education services are provided for children with disability.
During the event the Italian ambassador H.E Fabrizio Lo Basss who underlined during his speech the importance of inclusion and to work together in order to bypass all the constraints that persons with disability are facing. For this reason all the organizations and institutions should work together under the same strategy an Italo-Sudanese strategy for the well-being of persons with disability based on the sharing of inclusion instead of neglecting.
